There are certain things that must happen at certain times.
For example, after breakfast we will take a walk.
The family chose that schedule, and I hold them to it.
In my former life, I think I might have been a drill sergeant. Or if I wasn’t, I should have been.
I also like to plan my meals around their meals. I like to eat when they do. It adds a sense of camaraderie. And they all tell me it’s cute.
First thing in the morning, they all give me a huge greeting. Of course, that might be reflecting the joy I show in seeing them get up out of bed. Nighttime is long!
Pretty much, the rest of the day is one long nap. I refuse to use the term “cat nap,” because I am not a cat. So inconsiderate.
